Abdul Majid is working as VP – Financial Reporting, Controls and Systems at ACWA Power. He is a Chartered Accountant with diversified experience across various countries in the Middle East and the UK. In his current role, he is leading the Financial Controls function and also responsible of Treasury Operations and Internal Controls. He is also championing various digitalization initiatives for his functions. These initiatives include treasury management system, ERP upgrades and other Governance and Internal Control platforms. Majid and his team were the Overall Winner of the Best-in-Class Treasury Solution in the Middle East/ UAE award in the Adam Smith Awards 2021 by Treasury Today.
