Dr. Ehab previously worked as senior legal counsel and head of corporate governance and government affairs for Qatar's sovereign wealth fund. He was in charge of strategic, corporate, and special projects, as well as transactions worth billions of dollars, and he served on several management committees, including the Management Investment Committee and the Crisis Management Committee.

He worked as a senior legal advisor to the Amiri Diwan, the Amir of Qatar's office at the Royal Court, for six years. During this time, Ehab served on a number of policy and legal committees, including the Permanent Legislative Committee and the Council of Ministers' Committee for Legislative Review, as well as the National Committee to Review Legislation.
